    Seokchon Lake has eastern and western sections, with paths around the water. Lotte World Tower gives the surrounding cityscape a recognizable reference point.     It gives a first Jamsil visit a clear outdoor focus. Choose a stretch of shoreline and a place to finish; a complete circuit is optional.

    Neighboring paid attractions require separate admission.

    Save 석촌호수 and identify which side of the lake you want. Visit Seoul lists Jamsil Station as an approach. Route to your chosen entrance, since the lakeside paths extend well beyond a single station exit.

    Mongchontoseong preserves earthen fortifications associated with the Baekje period. Think grassy banks and paths rather than a stone fortress with a sequence of interior rooms.     The landscape contrasts with the lake-and-tower scene at the first stop. Come for the earthworks if you would like the walk itself to carry some of the day's history.

    Allow for hillside paths and extra walking; check the chosen route if you need step-free access.

    Search 몽촌토성 within 올림픽공원. Decide on your park entrance and return route before leaving Seokchon Lake. Any museum visit is a separate plan with its own opening arrangements.

    Choose Songpa Naru for a fish-focused meal near Seokchon Lake. Grilled hairtail, grilled mackerel and braised sole give the group several dishes to ask about.

    Ask about preparation, bones and ingredients when choosing a dish, and check the day's menu and prices before ordering.

    Save 234 Seokchonhosu-ro, Songpa-gu (석촌호수로 234), with phone 02-413-7080 in the official listing. Searching only 'Songpanaru' can bring up the station or area instead of this restaurant; match the address.

Before you go

Seokchon Lake and Olympic Park are separate destinations. Map the connection instead of assuming one path joins everything. Allow for slopes at Mongchontoseong, and check any indoor museum separately. Songpa Naru is a restaurant name as well as a term you will see around the neighborhood; the address matters more than a broad name search.
