    The mix of planted outdoor space and a conservatory makes this a focused reason to visit Magok. If the greenhouse is your main interest, give it priority over adding more addresses.

    The themed garden and greenhouse close on Mondays, while other park areas remain accessible.

    Check admission, seasonal hours and the park's own notices before travel. Check the current greenhouse display separately if a particular plant is the reason for your visit.

  2. A hill walk with a historic setting

    Gungsan brings a smaller hillside landscape into the day. Gangseo's official guide places Yangcheongoseong Fortress Site, Yangcheonhyanggyo Confucian school and Soangnu Pavilion around this area.     It changes the texture of the outing after the carefully arranged botanic garden. Choose it if you would rather spend the remaining time outside than sit down to a long meal.

    The hill requires more climbing than the garden paths. Check access separately for the school and other facilities.

    Save 궁산근린공원 and inspect the approach before leaving Magok. Keep the walk optional in bad weather or if your group needs a level route.

  3. A planned steak-course lunch, not a quick snack

    KTO describes a charcoal-grilled steak restaurant with Korean-style side dishes and a course-only lunch format. That is quite different from dropping into a noodle shop: come here because you want to give the meal its own part of the day. Source: Korea Tourism Organization — 105405 Magok

    It offers a seated alternative to extending the outdoor route. Put lunch first in your timetable if that is the part you care about most.

    Allow a separate block of time for the course lunch.

    KTO lists Building B, rooms 302–303, Doosan The Land Park, 161-8 Magokjungang-ro, and Sunday closure. Ask the restaurant at 0507-1383-9319 about the menu, price, service length and reservations.

Before you go

The themed garden and greenhouse are closed on Mondays, while the forest, lake and wetland areas follow different access arrangements. KTO lists 105405 Magok as closed on Sundays.
